The discover paragliding course is designed to show you what paragliding is all about, without having to commit to a full paragliding license. You will learn the basics of paragliding in ground school and then progress to doing your first solo flights.
By enrolling in this course you will be registered as a student with SAHPA, which will be valid for 6 months to complete the requirements in order to get a paragliding license if the student extends his learning towards the Basic license course.

Practical Requirments
- Perform up to 10 x solo flights using the forward launch method
- Demonstrate good layout, 5-point pre-flight checks
- Demonstrate 90 and 180-degree turn under instruction
- Demonstrate one unassisted landing
